Terms of Service

dropscreens.xyz (“the Service”) is a frontend web-based tool that helps you generate App Store and Google Play screenshots. The Service runs almost entirely in your browser; your projects and screenshots are stored locally in IndexedDB and do not transit our servers.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. To create projects you'll be asked to sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure; anyone who can access it can access your dropscreens account.

You retain all ownership and rights to the screenshots, app descriptions, headlines, brand assets, and any other content you upload to or create with the Service (collectively, “Your Content”).

You grant us a narrow, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process Your Content in your own browser for the sole purpose of letting you preview and export it. We never copy, store, redistribute, or use Your Content for any other purpose, including AI model training.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• infringe anyone's intellectual property rights
• produce screenshots or copy that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates the App Store Review Guidelines or Google Play Developer Program Policies
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
• circumvent any usage limits, paywalls, or rate limits we introduce later
• resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service as your own

We may suspend or remove access to the Service at our discretion if you breach these rules. Local projects in your browser are unaffected.

If you supply a Google Gemini API key in Settings, you remain solely responsible for it: any usage costs, quota limits, and compliance with Google's Gemini API terms. Your prompts go directly from your browser to Google; dropscreens.xyz does not relay them.

The Service is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we'll give existing users advance notice and clear pricing. Paid features will be opt-in — your existing free usage will not be retroactively billed.

We aim for high uptime but make no promises. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, and any given export or render may fail.

Always keep a backup of any screenshot you depend on — the Service is a convenience, not a system of record.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dropscreens.xyz, its owners, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to USD 50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend and indemnify dropscreens.xyz against any third-party claim arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) your violation of these terms or applicable law.

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account record from our database, see Section 7 of the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or restrict your access if you breach these terms or if continued operation would expose us to legal risk.

If we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for accounts with marketing opt-in, send a notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
